Compassionate care,

Looking for an oncology massage therapist to work alongside your team?
Whether you're a hospice, hospital, cancer support charity or healthcare provider, The Body Reset can explore ways to introduce or complement massage within your patient and family support services.
I'm an independent massage therapist with specialist oncology massage training undertaken with Susan Findlay. I work collaboratively with your team, respecting clinical guidance, individual consent, safeguarding and organisational policies.
Sessions are carefully adapted to each person's health circumstances, treatment history, comfort and preferences. Where necessary, appropriate guidance from their clinical team is sought before a session.

Comfort, consent and dignity come first.
Oncology massage is complementary supportive care. It does not treat cancer, replace clinical care or guarantee relief of symptoms. All sessions depend on individual assessment, appropriate adaptations and any necessary clinical input.
I'd love to hear about the people you support and how a partnership might work within your organisation.
Supportive comfort for patients and families.
Oncology massage is carefully adapted to the person, their circumstances and their care plan. For some people, it may offer relief from discomfort and an opportunity to feel more at ease during a difficult time. Evidence is developing, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Comfort when living with pain
Some studies suggest appropriately adapted massage can help with certain cancer-related pain symptoms, particularly as part of supportive or palliative care. It does not treat the underlying cause of pain.
Gentle support for tense muscles
Protective postures, stress and periods of inactivity can leave people feeling tight or uncomfortable. Where suitable, gentle massage away from vulnerable areas may help ease that sense of tension.
Rest, anxiety & fatigue
Gentle, thoughtfully adapted massage offers a restorative pause during or after cancer treatment. It can help people relax, ease stress and anxiety, lift mood and feel more comfortable in their bodies. Research with people affected by cancer has also reported improvements in symptoms such as pain, fatigue and sleep difficulties. Every session is shaped around how you feel on the day.
Care around neuropathy & rehabilitation
Cancer treatment can leave hands, feet or other areas feeling tingly, numb or unusually sensitive. Adapted oncology massage can offer comfort and relaxation alongside clinical care; early research is also exploring whether particular massage approaches can help ease neuropathy symptoms. I adjust pressure, positioning and areas treated to your sensation and comfort, and work around any precautions from your cancer team.

Wellbeing with
a personal touch.
Built on the belief that even a small moment of calm can make a meaningful difference to someone's day.
Why I created The Body Reset.
Health and wellbeing shouldn't be something we only think about once we're already burnt out. I created The Body Reset to make it easier for people to find those much-needed moments of calm, by bringing professional massage directly to the places where life happens.
The people who care for others deserve care, too.
I wanted to create something that could give a little of that care back.
That's why The Body Reset is built around flexibility, accessibility and a personal approach. Every organisation and community has different needs, and I'm always happy to have an open conversation about practical arrangements and affordability.
Your comfort, safety and privacy matter.
Before every session, including short chair massages, I complete a brief consultation with each person to understand their needs, check that massage is appropriate and tailor the session accordingly. Any personal information shared is handled confidentially and securely.
For more information about how consultation and session information is used and retained, please read the privacy notice.

More than a luxury.
A moment that matters.
Massage is a hands-on approach to relaxation and physical comfort, with a growing body of research exploring how it can support wellbeing.
More than a moment of relaxation.
Massage has been practised for thousands of years, and today it continues to play a valuable role in supporting physical comfort, relaxation and wellbeing. Through skilled, intentional touch, massage engages the body's sensory and nervous systems, creating an opportunity to slow down, ease tension and reconnect with how we feel.
Calm the nervous system
Encourage relaxation and help ease feelings of stress and anxiety.
Ease physical discomfort
Help relieve muscular tension and certain types of pain.
Support better rest
Promote relaxation and help people settle into more restful sleep.
Reduce muscle tension
Ease tightness and discomfort associated with physical activity and everyday routines.
Comfort through touch
Offer reassurance, human connection and a dedicated moment of care.
Support everyday wellbeing
Create space to unwind, reset and feel more comfortable in your body.
How skilled touch supports wellbeing.
Massage stimulates touch receptors in the skin and engages sensory pathways involved in relaxation, body awareness and the perception of discomfort. Alongside a calm setting and an individually adapted approach, this can make a meaningful difference to how a person feels.
Stress, anxiety and rest
Research has identified benefits for relaxation and short-term anxiety in a range of settings. A session also creates protected time to switch off from daily demands and focus on rest.
Muscle comfort and pain
Massage can help with muscular soreness and tension, and research supports short-term pain relief for some conditions. Feeling more comfortable can make daily activities feel easier.
Care and connection
Thoughtful, consent-led touch can provide reassurance and a sense of being cared for, especially when sessions are shaped around personal comfort and preferences.
Wellbeing where life happens
From a short chair massage at work to a familiar visit in a care community, a professionally delivered session makes space for comfort, attention and calm.

Enquiries by email
When you use our enquiry form, your own email app opens with the details you entered. Your message is not sent by the website itself; you need to press Send in your email app. We receive the information you choose to email, such as your name, contact details, organisation, location, preferred date and enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive health information in your first message.
How your information is used
We use enquiry information to reply to you, discuss services and arrangements, and keep records relevant to providing our services. Enquiry emails are handled through our business email provider. We do not use enquiry details for marketing without an appropriate basis.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect business communications and personal information. Ordinary enquiry emails are normally kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is needed for a booking, legal obligation, dispute or another legitimate purpose. Adult consultation forms, consent information and session records are generally retained for 10 years after the last session. Records relating to children may be kept longer where required by applicable professional, insurance or legal requirements.
Consultation and session records
Before every massage session, including short chair massages, I ask each client to complete a consultation form. This may include relevant health information, medical conditions, medications and individual preferences, so I can consider whether a session is appropriate and adapt it to their needs.
Paper consultation forms, consent information and session records are kept in locked storage, with access restricted to the practitioner. They are not routinely shared with employers, event organisers or other third parties. Information may be disclosed where the client has given appropriate permission, where required by law, or where another valid legal basis applies, for example in relation to safeguarding or legal claims.
We use information needed to arrange and provide massage services on the UK GDPR lawful basis of performing a contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering one. Where we rely on explicit consent to process health information, we ask for that consent separately from consent to massage. You may withdraw consent by emailing hello@thebodyreset.uk. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and some information may still need to be retained where another lawful basis and an appropriate special-category condition apply, including where necessary for legal claims. We will explain any such retention when you contact us.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your information, or object to certain processing. Contact hello@thebodyreset.uk with any request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
