Caring for Carers
Supporting the people who spend their time supporting others.
Healthcare professionals, carers and support staff dedicate so much of their time to caring for others, often putting their own health and wellbeing last. The Caring for Carers programme was created to give something back, bringing professional on-site chair massage directly into healthcare and care settings.
Whether it's during a lunch break, between shifts or as part of a staff wellbeing initiative, every session is designed to provide a meaningful moment of rest, helping staff feel appreciated, valued and cared for.

Watching the compassionate care and support provided by healthcare workers and carers to my Grandfather during his journey with dementia, and seeing the dedication shown to a close family friend following her cancer diagnosis, gave me a real appreciation for the emotional and physical demands placed on those who care for others. They are often the very people who have the least time to prioritise their own health and wellbeing after giving so much to everyone else.
This inspired me to create the Caring for Carers programme, bringing moments of rest, relaxation and wellbeing directly to the people who spend so much of their time caring for others.
Whether it's five minutes or one hour, taking time to reset can make all the difference.
